Rehab is going well so far,” he said. “I start straight-line running this week.“We’ll see. So far so good, so if it carries on as it should I would hope to be (fit). There’s still a few weeks to go.”

Kane, who has been out since April 9, joked that he faces a battle to earn his place, after Lucas Moura’s hat-trick and substitute Fernando Llorente’s inspirational performance against Ajax in his absence.He said: “We beat Manchester City, we beat Ajax in the semi… I’ve got to start training even harder and prove myself in front of the gaffer.”Getty2

 Manager Mauricio Pochettino was in tears at the end of the dramatic victory over Ajax, which was secured deep into injury time.Kane added: “I’m a fan first and foremost and I know how much it means to the club.“It was a disappointing first half and we let them play. I went into the dressing room at half-time and we knew it [the performance] wasn’t good enough. We said we had 45 minutes to give everything.“The lads dug deep and showed passion and that is all you can ask for. We had to wait to get the third in the last minute and we found a way. That’s what football is about and we have the final to come.”
