I’m a Celebrity 2018: Harry Redknapp to do Bushtucker trial as he and Noel Edmonds lose privileged status in the jungle
The emperor’s reign is coming to an end and now Noel Edmonds and his trusty adviser Harry Redknapp will have to do a Bushtucker trial on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here tonight. The pair were living a charmed life in the jungle after Noel arrived late as emperor of the camp and the TV star appointed Harry as his right-hand man.But they will soon have to live as peasant celebrities (if that’s possible) and their first task sees them do the trial aptly titled ‘Nero to Zero’.Harry and Noel learned their fate towards the end of last night’s episode and it was a very busy day for Harry. The emperor and his assistant are sleeping in two fairly standard beds but compared to where the other celebs sleep it’s like a five star hotel. And they had an unexpected guest when a shrew managed to park itself on one of the walls. Noel and Harry in particular were quite shocked and somewhat froze (not a good sign for the Bushtucker trial).Thankfully, Nick Knowles was on hand to save the day and safely remove the shrew. There was more trouble in Harry and Noel’s room hours later when the former West Ham player cramped up at 5:19am – a classic footballers’ injury! It was so bad that Harry needed Noel to stretch and massage his leg to rid him of the cramp, an incident which both saw the funny side of.Harry later explained in the Bush Telegraph about how his cramp struggles have come at inconvenient stages and even when he’s in the bedroom with wife Sandra! His banter continued when he suggested during actress Rita Simons’ Bushtucker Trial that her shouting and swearing would scare away all the critters that were joining her! However, as we’ve seen on countless occasions over the past week, there is a softer side to Harry. Some of the celebrities were treated to care packages which contain letters from their nearest and dearest. But three of the campmates were unable to receive their packages and when emperor Noel and Harry had to decide who wouldn’t get theirs, Harry did the honourable thing and volunteered to be one of them.He also read out Noel’s care package impeccably which reduced the emperor to tears.Harry was quick to lighten the mood when he said at the end “please share your care package with Harry”, pretending Noel’s wife had written that down! However, the smile was wiped off Harry’s face when he learned he’d be doing the next trial. Below is a sneak peak at what’s in store for Harry.
