Solskjaer has won 13 of 16 matches in all competitions since taking over from Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford and lived in the 4m property during his successful career as a player.As The Sun report, he put the house up for sale a couple of years ago when it seemed unlikely he’d be back in Manchester permanently.However, he couldn’t find a buyer and eventually Van Dijk became the tenant when he made the 75million move from Southampton in 2018.2

Van Dijk joined Liverpool in January 2018 and currently rents Solskjaer’s mansion

A source told the newspaper: “The property is the one Ole and his family lived in since his time at United and when he moved away it was eventually put up for sale.“But when no takers came it was offered for rent and whenVan Dijksigned forLiverpoolhe came to see it and loved it.“Ole probably never thought he would be coming back to Manchester but now he is it really is ironic he cant move back into his old place which he still owns.“There are a few grins from people who know that Van Dijk is the tenant a player for one of Uniteds fiercest rivals!”
