Messages on the buildings said ‘f*** off Roland’, ‘CAFC say f*** off’ and ‘pay the bonuses’.The latter statement is in reference to unpaid staff bonuses reportedly promised to them by Duchatelet.7sur7 report that a vandalism complaint has been filed and an investigation launched to identify the author of the messages.Jim White provided an update on the situation on his talkSPORT show on Tuesday.He said: Individuals wearing masks and wigs vandalised properties at 4am in Belgium.Properties belonging to the owner as well as offices of Duchatelet and some of his business associates were also targeted.Duchatelet aims to make a proposal to a fans forum this week and is considering all his options.He is grossly upset at this invasion of his privacy but remains a willing seller. Charlton fans have staged numerous protests over recent seasons.In October 2016, they threw plastic pigs onto the pitch to delay a match, while they also held a mock funeral for the club.Fans also travelled to his home town to protest the owner.More recently, play was stopped in the first minute of Charlton’s match with Fleetwood Town last August as crisp packets were thrown onto the pitch.
