Eriksen has yet to sign an improved deal at Spurs, meaning the club may have to cash in this summer in order to avoid losing him for nothing. And according to Tuttosport, Inter have entered the race for the 27-year-old with the Italian club’s director of football Piero Ausilio, kicking off preliminary talks to try and get Eriksen to the San Siro. The report has even suggested Ausilio was at Spurs’ Champions League triumph over Manchester City on Tuesday night.

In fact, they are 27 points off the top with seven games remaining and appear set to lose star duo Mauro Icardi and Ivan Perisic in the summer. And Eriksen is viewed as a player who can make Inter, who have not won Serie A since 2010, competitive in the title race once again. However, they have a huge fight on their hands with Real Madrid also reportedly keen on Eriksen, who’s likely to be available for 130million.Eriksen has featured 200 times in the Premier League at Spurs and has been involved in 110 goals in that run.

CB - Joseph Aidoo (30 yrs old) - Valued at 13.5m - Selling for 8m - A decent Premier League player and standout Championship defender. There are some players like Titi and Battersby which I really don't want to get rid of but if a good offer comes in I will likely accept.

Matthijs de Ligt is one of the best youngsters in the world

Whatever the situation, though, I think that remaining NAPM to the bitter end is not necessary, personally. It's a personal decision, of course. For me, the removal of all Oystons and the installation of a new board and a receiver whose job is to sell the club, is what we all strived for. Owen may yet raise the £25m and return. Or seek to return.
