And he is the red-hot favourite to land the job on a full-time basis after winning 14 of his 19 games as caretaker since replacing the sacked Jose Mourinho in December.The Daily Mail report United are close to giving Solskjaer a permanent contract, moving their original plans to announce a decision at the end of the season forward.
