It looks like Manchester United will wear a black shirt for the first time in two seasons after images of their third design for 2019/20 were leaked online. The third kit has gone in the completely opposite direction from the pink number released at the start of the current season and has been given the bespoke treatment to produce a clean, simple look.An image of Man United’s third shirt for next season2

It is very hard to go wrong with a black kit and when done correctly will appear stylish and sleek and that is what adidas have managed to do perfectly, as shown by Footy Headlines. The Chevrolet writing and the Kohler sponsor print on the left sleeve are white, while the club badge and adidas logo are completed in a shade of orange/red trim. A closer look at the new shirt, reveals a a subtle all-over print inspired by the Manchester Rose and printed on the bottom are the words: ‘110 Years – Manchester Rose – 1909 2019’.

Shirt aficionados will notice slight similarities in their third strip to the one worn in United‘s first season (second spell) of collaboration with adidas back in 2015/16, a disappointing campaign which concluded with the FA Cup and the dismissal of Louis van Gaal.
