He suffered a ruptured Achilles at the end of last season, ruling him out until September at the earliest and scuppering any chance of sealing a move to Bayern Munich, who tried to sign him in January.With the club unable to register new players this summer and following the sale of Eden Hazard to Real Madrid, the Blues have made Hudson-Odoi a priority, but uncertainty surrounding the manager’s position has led to complications.The Englishman, who has one year left on his current deal, broke into the first team under Maurizio Sarri, however the Italian is set to swap Chelsea for Juventus this week.Dean Saunders says Frank Lampard must take Chelsea job if offered it And, according to The Sun, Hudson-Odoi is eager for assurances over his playing time from whoever will be in charge next season.A Blues source is quoted saying: Its never been about money for Callum, its far more about his development.
