Mauricio Pochettino has admitted he’s unsure if Christian Eriksen will sign a new Tottenham contract, following reports the Dane is reluctant to commit his future to the club.Talks have stalled over a new deal for the attacking midfielder, who has scored four goals in his last six games for Spurs.3

Both Barcelona and Real Madrid are admirers of the 26-year-old, whose current deal runs out in 18 months.When asked by reporters about Eriksen’s situation, Pochettino stressed it was something out of his control.He said: “Football is dynamic. It’s about interests the manager sometimes can’t manage.“Eriksen is important to us. You’d like this type of player with you, but it’s a negotiation. “It would be fantastic if he commits long-term but he has every right to do what he wants.”3

No news, again like Christian Eriksen a different situation it is not only in our hands.“In that business there are different parties that are involved, then it is about to negotiate, to talk, and see what the different parties want.”
