Tottenham transfer news: Liverpool striker Divock Origi wanted by Spurs to fill in for injured Harry Kane
Tottenham are lining up a shock move for Liverpool striker Divock Origi as to look to fill the void left by Harry Kane.After sustaining an ankle injury in the 1-0 defeat to Manchester United last Sunday, Kane has been ruled out until early March and will miss at least six scheduled Premier League matches.2

Origi is being considered by Spurs

With Heung-Min Son away on international duty and Lucas Moura also absent through injury, manager Mauricio Pochettino’s side look desperately short of options in attack.The club have even planned a top-level meeting to discuss how to deal with Kanes absence over the next couple of months such is his importance. Origi, 23, has just 18 months left on his Liverpool contract and has only made two appearances in the Premier League this season, but in one of those he did net a dramatic stoppage-time winner against Everton and is being considered by Spurs, according to The Telegraph.2
