Chelsea loanee Mason Mount has recommended a move abroad for young players seeking more game time.The 19-year-old spent last season on loan in the Eredivisie with Vitesse before he was sent out to Championship side Derby this term.And while many bright Chelsea careers fade away in the Netherlands, Mounts loan spell was incredibly fruitful.He bagged 14 goals and ten assists, appeared in the Eredivisie Team of the Week on several occasions and even collected the clubs Player of the Season award.2

You have no time to bed into things. You just have to grow up and be a man straight away.“It helps you with that experience and, like I said, wherever young players go, its a really good decision to go out there.“Its a different type of football you experience. So if you go out there on a years loan, you come back to England and you have that different side to your game.”
