Liverpool’s midfield that faced Manchester City is not good enough and Jurgen Klopp must ditch Dejan Lovren from his defence to win the Premier League.That’s the verdict of talkSPORT presenter and lifelong Reds fan Micky Quinn, after the league leaders’2-1 defeat to Manchester Cityon Thursday night.2

Lovren is a constant source of frustration for Liverpool fans

City blew the title race back wide open with a brilliant victory in a chaotic game at the Etihad Stadium.Strikes from Sergio Aguero and Leroy Sane ended Liverpools unbeaten run and reduced the gap at the top to just four points.It was a frustrating game for the Reds, who had plenty of chances to score but overall looked a fraction off the pace compared to the defending champions.Lovren, who in the summer reckoned he is‘one of thebest defenders in the world’ and who talked up the teams chances of going the whole season unbeaten ahead of the game, in particular produced an error-strewn performance.And Quinn believes the Croatian and also midfielders Jordan Henderson, James Milner and Georginio Wijnaldum are just not good enough.2
